Gynecology is a branch of science that studies women’s health and diseases. Specialist doctors interested in this science are called Gynecologists. Gynecologist is also known as obstetrician among the people. Modern gynecological initiatives are successfully implemented in our Gynecology and Obstetrics Department. Today, contrary to what the name given in classical medical practice indicates, the concept that is fundamentally adhered to is not only Gynecology and Obstetrics, but also Women’s Health.
Many problems related to women’s diseases can be prevented by routine annual gynecological examinations. You should not neglect regular checks against uterine cancer and many problems that may threaten your health.
Gynecological follow-up is of serious importance for both adults and early ages. Gynecological follow-up of children and adolescence: follow-up and treatment of issues such as puberty and development process monitoring, delay in entering puberty or early puberty. Information is provided for healthy young generations.
Women’s Health Follow-Up:
Regular annual regular examination and gynecological ultrasonography, smear screening tests are performed. Menstrual irregularities, vaginal infections, and sexual intercourse are examined.
Diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases are examined as follows: ovarian cysts, chocolate cysts, dermoid cysts, Uterine Myoma, sagging uterus, vaginal tears, sagging bladder, urinary incontinence operations are treated with open and closed laparoscopic surgery.
All ovarian cysts can be treated with laparoscopic surgery, also known as the Minimally Invasive Surgery technique. Closed method of treatment of fibroids Laparoscopic surgery is applied successfully.
Hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical method used in cases such as polyps in the uterus, adhesions in the uterus, curtains in the uterus.
Laparoscopic surgery is performed together with open surgery methods for excessive menstrual bleeding, fibroids and ovarian cysts, and sagging bladder in cases that require removal of the uterus.

Pregnancy follow-up and Birth Processes:
Routine monthly pregnancy follow-up and ultrasonography are performed in every pregnant woman. In the usual pregnancy follow-up, screening tests are applied: Double test, Triple test, Quadruple test, Non Invasive Diagnostic Tests (NIPT) and Amniocentesis. In cases of High blood pressure, diabetes, recurrent pregnancy losses, IVF pregnancies, multiple pregnancies, Myoma and pregnancy, that fall into the risky pregnancy group are provided with detailed ultrasonography and four-dimensional examination to bring healthy babies into the world.
Babies requiring advanced care and assistance, such as premature babies, babies whose weight is less than a week are re-wrapped in life with the Newborn Intensive Care Unit.
