Bobath Treatment method:
It’s a treatment concept that progresses with the child’s active participation. Teaching the right movement is targeted. Each individual is different and requires different interventions. It must be approached by the type and degree of the cerebral palsy.
And the future should always be considered. We should proceed by thinking, “What will the work we do now bring us in the coming years”.
Risky Baby:
Risky babies are infants with a special condition such as early or low-weight childbirth, incubator hospitalization, hard labor, oxygen deprivation and bleeding problems.
The risky baby is not a diagnosis. Risky babies are more likely to experience developmental latency. So, the baby needs to be followed and supported developmentally.
Just because a baby is at risk doesn’t necessarily mean they will be a sick or disabled child. It is aimed that risky babies will show normal development with professional support and develop in accordance with their peers. The early intervention program provides an opportunity for children to avert developmental problems and maximize the child’s potential during the first three years of life.
What is the Early Intervention Program?
Early intervention is a process that developmentally involves evaluating babies and children at age zero to three. The program is run by physiotherapists, psychologists, pedagogues, and child development professionals. Early intervention is to ensure that a risky newborn develops normally during the first three years of life.
The importance of an early intervention program is that it detects and supports risks, allowing the baby to develop in a manner that is consistent with his or her peers.
Early intervention specialists help the family combine learning and development approaches with their daily lives. As a result, early intervention studies are not limited to specific hours or in the child’s daily routine; they are also extended to times such as eating, playing, dressing, and bathing. Developmental programs that begin early on improve the quality of life for many babies and their families.
Families also benefit from an early intervention program, which is an active part of this process in terms of psychological support and rehabilitation.
Effective methods are developed to solve problems related to the problems that may be experienced, and the rate of experiencing psychological problems such as depression and anxiety disorders decreases.
Our center aims to identify later problems with the child as early as possible. The most efficient strategy to mitigate risk is to notify the family and to put scientific treatment programs on the table as soon as possible.
During early intervention, the goal is to provide a professional team and quality service to our families and children contacting our headquarters, to support them and their families, to make sure they get involved in life in the best possible way.
